Currently working on a series of digital diptychs concerned with the
effects of global economics and international trade issues. Other
interests include political satire, low-tech art (for example,
renewable energy), cultural/technical crossover, biodiversity,
public art and urban renewal.

Affiliations
Co-founded Machine Language, a video art collective, and later,
through her own company, Julie Harrison Productions, produced and
directed video art, documentaries and art educational videotapes which
have aired on PBS nationwide and were featured in festivals such as
the Toronto Film Festival, The World-Wide Video Festival in The Hague
and the National Video Festival in Los Angeles, among others.

and works exploring the intersection of word, image, and page.
