New Research Project
"Voices and Artifacts of the Industrial Revolution: A Comparison between Europe and the U.S." Researching and gathering for publication a collection of primary documents (reader for class use) concerning the early years of the Industrial Revolution (1750-1860) in Manchester, England and Lowell, Massachusetts. I am also searching for material regarding emerging industrial centers in other European nations during the nineteenth century, especially Germany, France, and Italy.
