Since forming in 1997, The White Stripes have consistantly been musical innovators with each album that they have released. Consisting of Jack White on vocals and guitar along with Meg White on drums, the duo are true artists, stripping rock and blues music down to its bare elements with a raw edge.
Originally part of the garage rock revival of the 1990s, the band has outlived many of their competitors, especially with their newest album, Icky Thump, which debuted at number two on the Billboard charts. Armed with red, white and black, The White Stripes are taking over!
